direction. It is ideally situated to explore three different landscapes
--- the forested hills of the Malapere, the vineyards and wine-villages
of the plain of Carcassonne, the meadows and lakes of the Montagne
Noire. Carcassonne and Castelnaudary are 15 mins drive, Toulouse 45
mins and the Mediterranean coast 1 hour. The village of Alzonne, with
shops/café, and the beautiful Canal du Midi, are just
minutes
away.

inside this outwardly modest French farmhouse and you find it has the
interior proportions and elegant style of a manor -house. It is
beautifully furnished -- very French -- and very well modernised and
equipped. There are grounds all around the house, with many fine trees
--- one can browse or dine in sun or shade on lawn or terrace alongside
the 12 m x 6m tiled pool. The pool, which is for your exclusive use, is
discreetly maintained by a guardian who lives on the farm. There are
two small fishing-lakes. |

bank cheque (or agreed alternative) for one-quarter of the total rent;
on receipt of that we write to confirm the reservation with advice on
further payment (We simply ask you to send another cheque for the rest
2 months before the holiday).
The rents quoted here include all services, bedding, house towels and
fuel.
